Architecture Portfolio Images

Infiltrating a Mansion for Dummies

This image is a more stylized one with a few things i like to ad such as the way I drew the sword shimmering and the clouds with dark spots in the middle rather than drawn on the edges. This scene is one from a storyboard that i abandoned a while ago but decided to use it as a reference because I like the composition of this scene with the character perched on top of a branch that is on a sort of cliff above the woodlands that surround a building.

Motor Tricycle

This Bike is one that I drew straight after I watched the movie Akira for the first time. After admiring the bike the character Kaneda rode around in I decided to try and draw my own bike. As is shown the bike features 3 wheels and has leather padded seats that gives a person more comfort than seats you buy for regular bikes.

Room Interior

This room interior is based on my room and shows the room as being quite small which mine is as the bed takes up much of the room space.

Street View

When you look at the views people in my area look at every day you can see why people say that Sheffield is the greenest city in the UK. Whenever I see this view I’m always reminded of the lush landscapes and awesome vistas you see in the lord of the rings movies where you have great looking buildings in the middle of a lot of greenery.

The Burning Man in the Big City

This image shows a scene set at night with a shady looking guy in a hoodie burning the skin off somebody he isn’t a fan of. In the background I drew 3 buildings one of which features a large screen with a character inspired by battle of the planets (mainly Ken the eagle) series.

The Millennium Dragon

This image is that of a dragon that I have had quite a few dreams about. The head of the dragon is slightly modelled after that of a Crocodile and Komodo dragon. The unique thing about this that i dreamt about was the inclusion of the dragons ear holes near the end of its jaw as well as an extra set of eyes that come from the sides of its long neck.

The Sheffield Landscape in Colour

This image is of the Sheffield landscape as seen from the car park of the Sheffield City College. I drew each line without looking at the paper and for a couple it took a few tries but it ended up looking better than i hoped. I then coloured in each layer and this was the end result.

The Sydney Opera House

My final drawing is a sketch that i did of the Sydney opera house. The design of this building is one that i think is really interesting and since sketching things helps me understand designs better I really enjoyed sketching this.

The Victoria Falls

This image of the Victoria falls was drawn with photos that my family took when we went there as reference.

The Winter Gardens

I sketched this image of the Sheffield winter gardens by just basically standing outside it and putting finishing touches when i got home.

Vines to the Sky

This image is one that I had a bit of trouble working out in terms of how I drew the mass of vines. I started off drawing single lines and then deciding which ones where in the background and foreground. In the end I managed to work it out and decided to add mountains in the background to really show how big this mass is.

Headquarters by a Cliff

This Image is of the headquarters of a fictional group of Villains. The initial sketch was slightly different from the finished product because as it had extra rooms between the two main segments of the building. I decided to omit that segment because in hindsight it didn’t really make the building look any more interesting and didn’t seem all to useful to have a window showing the main conference room as that would be a bit suspicious.
